The Report was released by Shri. Amitabh Kant, Former G20, Sherpa, Government of India at the round table organised on July 16, 2025 at Meridian, New Delhi.
This report seeks to address these critical questions by examining how various countries have crafted and implemented effective vehicle efficiency regulations, and what lessons India can draw as it prepares to advance to CAFE-III and CAFE-IV standards. Through a comparative analysis of the most successful international standards, the report will highlight key design elements that have driven compliance and technological progress globally.
