Dr. Kapoor shared his views on Strengthening Livelihoods of the Poor: Role of Private Sector at the Livelihoods Asia Summit on December 13, 2017 in New Delhi. The detailed agenda can be looked here.

The Livelihoods Asia Summit 2017  is a unique platform established to facilitate south south dialogue on livelihoods enhancement of the poor. Wide ranging discussions will be held on Inclusive Value chains and several senior officials from the Government; Private Sector; Civil Societies, UN agencies and thought leaders will speak at the Summit. It will enable diverse stakeholders to meet and share experiences and breakthroughs, discuss issues and challenges that the poor face and build consensus on strategies that will help in strengthening the enabling environment and deliver sustainable outcomes. The Summit will see more than 400 delegates from over 10 countries participate in sessions across two days. There will be over 60 eminent thought leaders and sector specialists from the region speaking in various panels.
