Developing a Vibrant and Connected Hyderabad

Dr. Kapoor shared his thoughts on “Developing a Vibrant and Connected Hyderabad” at Connect Karo 2021. Connect Karo 2021 explored key themes around the issues of managing urban development and air pollution, scaling sustainable transport to ensure its integration with land development, and reducing road traffic fatalities which are critical for our cites, as they grow in population, and expand economically and spatially, debate global best practices and highlight emerging trends and their relevance for India. The virtual session was organised from September 13 to September 17, 2021.

The session focussed on aspects that are critical in developing the Hyderabad Region as a well-balanced economic cluster and the synergies that are needed to unlock environmental and social benefits within the city region.The session will offer an insight on three subthemes namely Urban Economic Development Vision for Hyderabad with focus on aspects that are critical in developing the Hyderabad Region as a well-balanced economic cluster, Fostering Electric Mobility in Telangana through creating enabling policies, promoting innovation, and attracting investments, and actions to enhancing Competitiveness of Hyderabad Pharma City and Financing and Implementation options for HPC.
