Municipal Performance Index and the Ease of Living index are aimed at complementing each other and give a holistic assessment of the city’s performance. Ease of Living 2.0 is a compilation of the outcomes that the services generate, which has a direct impact on the lives of citizens. It is necessary to generate information to guide evidence-based policy making, catalyse action to achieve broader developmental outcomes including the Sustainable Development Goals and assess and compare the outcomes achieved from various urban policies and schemes.
The information filled in the questionnaire would enable us in analysing the concept of Ease of Living, gauge the extent of the problems in each area, and thereby help policy-makers come up with the right policy measures that will benefit the overall life of its citizens.
