Report: Strategic Roadmap for India’s Biomanufacturing

The aim of this report was to formulate the competitiveness roadmap for biomanufacturing and bio-innovation, with a specific emphasis on positioning India as a preeminent global bio-innovation hub and catalysing its trajectory towards becoming a $100 billion bio-manufacturing hub. Drawing insights from global best practices, this report also studies Lessons for India from Global Biotechnology Clusters, underscoring the importance of integrating international experiences into India’s biotechnology strategy. By examining global biotechnology clusters, India can derive valuable insights to enhance its own biotech innovation ecosystem and foster sustainable growth. The report proposes strategies that facilitate collaboration, co-creation, and co-scaling between government entities and private sector stakeholders, thereby promoting a robust biotechnology landscape in India.
