A joint project of Harvard Business School’s Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness, Harvard Medical School’s Department of Global Health and Social Medicine, and the Brigham and Women’s Hospital Department of Global Health Equity, it aims to improve health among disadvantaged populations worldwide by systematizing the study of global health delivery and rapidly disseminating knowledge to partitioners.

Organized on 15th Dec 2012, by GHDonlineIFC, and PHFI, the GHDonline meetup Delhi 2012 attracted some of the best healthcare professionals in the region to brainstorm on the challenges being faced in India, while tackling HIV and chronic diseases. It was supported by Johnson & Johnson.

Dr. Kapoor talked about the economic impact of chronic diseases on our system. Efforts of Avahan, an initiative sponsored by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to reduce the spread of HIV in India, and another successful model ‘Muslim Samaj’ were appreciated and the opportunities and challenges to upscale the models to a global level were also discussed.
