The vagaries and vacillations of Global order have imposed an enormous strain on multilateral cooperation. The gap between the urgency for global consensus versus the ability to get there has been growing wider. The challenges of unsustainable debt, contracting financial flows and reversal of progress on SDGs that follow the long shadows of COVID-19 pandemic, geopolitical tensions and climate change have adversely impacted food and energy security and our interdependent Global supply chains.
