NITI Lectures

Professor Michael Eugene Porter will be delivering the third lecture in the high-powered NITI Lecture series scheduled on May, 25th, 2017 at Vigyan Bhawan. The theme of the lecture is “Competitiveness of Nations & States: New Insights”.

The lecture that will revolve around the idea of productivity and competitiveness of Indian regions will be addressed to Union Cabinet Ministers and policy makers in India. The address will be followed by a panel discussion including Michael Green, CEO, Social Progress Imperative, Adil Zainulbhai, Chairman, Quality Council of India and Pramath Raj Sinha, founder of Ashoka University as participants.

This is a closed door event.

About NITI Lectures: Transforming India

NITI Aayog announced the launch of “NITI Lectures: Transforming India” to build knowledge systems for the States and the Centre.  The Transforming India Lecture Series was inaugurated on August 26th, 2016 by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. 

The first key note address – India and the Global Economy – was delivered by the Hon’ble Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore, Shri Tharman Shanmugaratnam. The second lecture in the high-powered NITI Lecture series was delivered by Bill Gates, Co-Founder, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation on the November 16th, 2016 about ‘Technology and Transformation’.
