Amit Kapoor and Ease of Living Index

On the podcast, John talks with Amit Kapoor about how GDP is a poor measure of Human Well Being.  Amit is the chair for the Institute for Competitiveness in India and they have created an Ease of Living Index to measure the average citizen’s quality of life as opposed to tracking economic output!  Makes sense!  Fascinating discussion – we cover numerous topics including happiness, climate change, Trump, quality of life, social media, and Hong Kong!
