A CII led initiative with Dr. Kapoor, Revitalizing Punjab was a research and advisory asignment for better governance in Punjab. Competitiveness is not the prerogative of the business sector alone. Policy making is a crucial wing for the competitiveness of the region and in the light of recent developments in the agricultural and manufacturing sector and the changing expectation of the international markets, developing a vision for the governance and the state will take the region a long way towards accomplishing the goal of becoming a globally recognised and accepted agricultural and manufacturing benchmark.
