THE INDIA CLUSTER SCHOOL 2010 The first India Clusters School was organised by Competitiveness, and the Institute for Competitiveness, India from the 18th to the 21st of May 2010. As the other editions of the Cluster Schools around the world, the programme had been designed and coordinated by Emiliano Duch and Dr. Amit Kapoor. The India Clusters School offered a programme of four days that covered a series of practical cases and examples of the management of clusters. Rigorous theoretical courses conducted by well-known academics are combined with leading practitioners’ experiences from India. The courses are designed for professionals working in the management of cluster based competitiveness and innovation programmes, at cluster and regional level. The four days programme is divided into sessions of Clusters, Regional Competitiveness Programmes, Reinforcement Inititatives, Policies and Methodology, giving participants a thorough training in cluster development programmes. The method of this Cluster School Programme is based on the case method and requires active participation from the students in order to have full effect. You could contact Natasha Ahuja at natasha.ahuja@competitiveness.in for more details on the school.
