Competitiveness canot be the prerogative of the companies and firms alone. an all encompassing concept, education must also fall within the purview of competitiveness to ensure quality education and extensive impartment. Dr. Kapoor was invited to give his view on the alliances that can be formed to mitigate the shortcomings of the Indian Education sector through foreign alliances. Extensive debate ensued on the Educational Alliances – Transcending Border: Education Cluster and Special Education Zones – Challenges & Opportunities at the Education Summit 2009 organised by the  Confederation of Indian Industry at Chandigarh, India on August 27, 2009.
